Japan Airlines domestic passenger traffic increased 4.8% in September

Japan Airlines (JAL) transported three million passengers on its domestic network last month from the 2.8 million passengers it flew a year earlier. Read More » Domestic capacity was flat for the 30 days, JAL said. Passenger load factor was 4 percentage points higher, at 79.2%. The oneworld alliance member's international passengers transported increased 10.5%, to 594,186, from 537,512 air travellers a year ago. International capacity expanded 5.6%, but passenger load factor was down 2 percentage points to 81.8%, JAL said.
