Vietnam Airlines and Garuda Indonesia confirm strategic partnership

Vietnam Airlines and Garuda Indonesia have agreed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen and expand cooperation and enhance passenger and airfreight transportation capabilities between Vietnam and Indonesia. Read More » The two airlines will launch joint marketing campaigns, increase code-sharing and joint ventures and explore services such as aircraft leasing, ground services, technical maintenance, and cargo operations. “This partnership not only strengthens the position of both national carriers but facilitates the provision of high-quality services for our passengers traveling between Vietnam and Indonesia. We believe this will bring significant benefits to our passengers and promote trade and cultural exchanges between the two nations,” Vietnam Airlines CEO and president, Le Hong Ha, said. “This partnership will assist in positioning both airlines in the global aviation market,” Garuda Indonesia president and CEO, Irfan Setiaputra, said.
