Qantas engineers stage snap 24 hour strike at two capital city airports

Read More » The three unions involved, acting under the umbrella of the Qantas Engineer’s Alliance (QEA), said the airline’s management had refused to increase its previous pay offer. “We had several meetings with the unions before the industrial action. We want to continue to engage with them to find a way forward, but they have chosen to take action. Our preference is to reach an agreement that includes pay raises and other benefits,” an airline statement said.
