India’s carriers booked 6.4% expansion in domestic passengers traffic update reports

Read More » Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGCA) data shows LCC IndiGo held on to its top spot as the country’s dominant domestic carrier for the 30 days, flying 8.2 million passengers, or 63% of the domestic market. Runner-up was Air India with two million passengers (15.1% market share) followed by Vistara at 1.3 million customers (10% market share). The DGCA said Vistara had the highest domestic passenger load factor for the month at 90.9%, followed by Akasa Air (85.9%) and Air India Express (81.6%).
