Airports Council International, Boeing, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and International Civil Aviation Organization will host a two-day conference on accessibility in the air transport system at the beginning of December in Montreal.
IATA also has announced it will add digital currencies to its financial settlement systems. China’s currency, the renminbi, will be the first to be offered China Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) commencing before year-end.
Boeing has updated the market on its previously announced capital raising, with the confirmation it planned to raise US$16.1 billion from the sale of new shares and US$5 billion from the sale of depositary shares.
China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited is selling an A320neo lease-attached aircraft to a wholly-owned subsidiary of ABC Financial Leasing. The transaction will be signed off by December.
Safran Aircraft Engines will invest one billion euro (US$1.1 billion) to expand its MRO network supporting the LEAP engine platform, including a workshop in Hyderabad planned to open next year.
