Spain’s flag carrier, Iberia, has accepted its first A321XLR, becoming the launch customer for the world’s newest single-aisle jet. The aircraft, powered by CFM LEAP-1A engines, initially will fly to regional destinations before operating its first trans-Atlantic route, Madrid-Boston, in late November.

CDB Aviation, a 100% Irish subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co., has completed a mandate to sell eight A330-200s.
