Airbus delivered 23 aircraft to Asia-Pacific customers in September

For the reported month, the OEM had 667 gross commercial aircraft orders on its books and net orders for 648 aircraft after cancellations. The order backlog stood at 8,749 commercial aircraft at September 30. Consolidated revenue increased 5% year-on-year, to € 44.5 billion (US$48.4 billion), and consolidated EBIT Adjusted was € 2,798 million at the close of the month. Airbus delivered 497 commercial aircraft in the first nine months of 2024 compared with 488 aircraft in the same three quarters in 2023. The company confirmed its outlook for 2024 adhering to a target of 770 commercial aircraft deliveries, EBIT Adjusted of around € 5.5 billion and Free Cash Flow before Customer Financing at € 3.5 billion.
