British Airways to restore London-Kuala Lumpur in second quarter 2025

British Airways (BA) has announced it will restart nonstop London Heathrow-Kuala Lumpur next April 1, a delay in the resumption of the service from November 10 this year. Read More » In October, BA said the re-introduction of the rotation had to be delayed due to late deliveries of Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines that power its 787s. The oneworld alliance member returned to Thailand from October 28, after a four-year absence, with the restoration of nonstop 777-200ER London Gatwick-Bangkok Suvarnabhumi. “We know Bangkok has been a highly anticipated route restart for our customers, so we are thrilled to see it firmly back on our global route map,” BA chief planning and strategy officer, Neil Chernoff, said. EVA Airways and Thai Airways International also serve London Heathrow from Suvarnabhumi.
