China Eastern Airlines joins A321neo club

China Eastern Airlines (CEA) has accepted its first two A321neos from Airbus in Hamburg. Read More » The aircraft, registration B-32HX and B-32HY, respectively, were ferried from Hamburg to Shanghai Pudong late last week via Astana in Kazakhstan. The SkyTeam alliance member has configured the A321neos, powered by CFM Leap-1A engines, with 12 business and 186 economy seats. One of the two A321neos, registration B-32HY, commenced commercial operations on November 2. Airbus orders and deliveries data shows CEA had 68 A321neos on order before the delivery of the new single-aisles last week.
