IndiGo’s first A321neo fitted with the LCC's new IndiGoStretch premium product has arrived in the carrier’s fleet ahead of its commercial debut on Delhi-Mumbai. Read More » The aircraft, registration VT-ICF, was accepted by IndiGo late last week after its ferry flight from Airbus in Hamburg. IndiGo plans to start flying the IndiGoStretch, featuring 2x2 seating with extra legroom in the front of the aircraft and priority boarding and an extra luggage allowance, on November 14. “IndiGoStretch will create a desired option for many aiming to travel business, some of them seasoned and some perhaps for the first time in their life," IndiGo CEO, Pieter Elbers, said. “By early January, all customers flying between Delhi and Mumbai will be travelling on an IndiGoStretch aircraft. By March next year, we will cover all flights from Delhi to Bengaluru and Chennai. In the next 14 months, 45 IndiGoStretch planes will be inducted into our fleet, serving 12 routes with 268 daily flights.”
