COMAC announces orders for 130 aircraft at Zhuhai Airshow

COMAC booked orders for 60 C919s and 40 C909s from Hainan Airlines at this week’s Zhuhai Airshow followed by a firm commitment from Colorful Guizhou Airlines for 20 C909s, and options for 10 more of the type. Separately, the aerospace OEM said it will jointly build an aircraft research institute in partnership with Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
