Thai AirAsia X to add India to network

Thai AirAsia X (TAAX) will launch nonstop two times weekly Bangkok Don Mueang-Delhi on December 15. Read More » The LCC, operating the route with A330-300s, will increase the schedule to four a week a month later. It will be the airline's first destination in India. “We are confident this route will be well received by Thai and international travellers," TAAX CEO, Tassapon Bijleveld, said. “Operating out of Don Mueang Airport passengers will have access to the largest hub of domestic travel in Thailand and beyond on the AirAsia Group network of more than 130 destinations.” TAAX will be the only airline offering nonstop Don Mueang-Delhi. Air India, IndiGo, SpiceJet and Thai Airways International fly Delhi-Bangkok Suvarnabhumi.
