India’s largest airline by passengers, IndiGo, has chosen Langkawi as its third India-Malaysia route. Read More » The LCC will commence nonstop daily Bengaluru to the island state on December 16, becoming the only airline to operate a direct schedule between the two destinations. “Langkawi is one of the most popular destinations in Malaysia with its pristine beaches and lush rainforests,” IndiGo head of global sales, Vinay Malhotra, said. “The country's recent visa waiver for India’s citizens is bound to create greater demand.” IndiGo operates Kuala Lumpur-Chennai and will start flying to the Malaysia capital from Bengaluru on December 21.
