China Airlines records steady passenger traffic in latest month

China Airlines (CAL) transported 928,263 passengers in October, 3.6% more air travellers than the flag carrier flew a year ago. Operating revenue for the month was NT$14.8 billion (US$450 million) 6.5% better than the matching days in 2023, CAL said. From January 1 to October 31 this year, the SkyTeam carrier flew 9,517,807 passengers, 21.9% higher year-on-year, and operating revenue improved 7%, to NT$144 billion, for the same months.
