IndiGo adding fourth nonstop India-Phuket route to regional network

IndiGo will introduce Kolkata-Phuket on December 27 flying six times a week between the two cities, flight schedules published by the LCC show. Read More » At present, IndiGo, India’s largest airline by passengers carried, flies from Bengalulru, Delhi and Mumbai to Phuket. It also operates Kolkata-Bangkok Suvarnabhumi. “With this new route, IndiGo will be operating 93 weekly flights between India and Thailand," IndiGo head of global sales, Vinay Malhotra, said. “Phuket is Thailand's largest island and is known for its serene beaches and cultural diversity. Additionally, the country's visa-free policy for Indian citizens is expected to drive even greater demand.”
