Cambodia Angkor Air, which will change its name to Air Cambodia on January 1 next year, is leasing three ATR-600s from Chinese lessor, HNCAL.

Boeing has cut 396 jobs from its Washington State workforce local media reports, quoting a company notice received by the state’s Employment Security Department.

Japan Airlines has introduced electric-powered high-lift loaders and belt loaders to its ground operations at Tokyo Haneda Airport reducing noise and CO₂ emissions.

Hong Kong-headquartered Plaza Premium Group has opened its first dual lounge in North America. Passengers travelling out of Vancouver airport are now being offered entry to the Plaza Premium First lounge and an upgraded Plaza Premium lounge. It is the company's third dual-lounge alongside existing Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur.

The Hong Kong Business Environment Council has published a policy White Paper on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) that recommends the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government set up and lead a multi-stakeholder working group, provide subsidies, implement a levy for enhancing SAF demands and develop local SAF blending capacity.

STARLUX Airlines has received International Air Transport Association lithium battery transportation certification.
