Fiji Airways to expand regional services with new ATR 72-600s

Fiji Airways has accepted two ATR 72-600s to expand its network across the South Pacific and within Fiji. Read More » The first 72-600 touched down at Nadi airport last December 29 followed by the arrival at the airline of the second new turboprop on January 5. The aircraft are configured to carry 68 passengers in a single-class layout. “These two new ATRs are a significant investment in Fiji’s domestic connectivity," Fiji Airways CEO, Andre Viljoen, said. “They will help us meet growing demand for domestic travel ensuring we can provide increased capacity where it is most needed.”
In other Fiji Airways news, staff at its subsidiary, Fiji Link, will be issued with uniforms that match the work wardrobes of Fiji Airways crew and ground staff.
