IndiGo adds fourth city to Saudi Arabia network

India-headquartered LCC, IndiGo, will introduce three times a week nonstop Hyderabad-Madinah on February 20. Read More » The Saudi city is a popular destination for religious pilgrims to Saudi Arabia and follows the LCC’s rotations from India to Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh. It will be the airline’s 128th destination and the only air service flying Hyderabad-Madinah. “This route is more than just expanding our network. It opens a vital gateway for religious and cultural exchange," IndiGo head of global sales, Vinay Malhotra, said. “By commencing direct flights to Madinah, a major Islamic pilgrimage site, we aim to simplify travel within the region and beyond. With this launch, IndiGo will be operating more than 100 flights a week to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from India.”
