Singapore Changi reports 2024 passenger traffic was 99.1% of pre-COVID numbers

In final quarter 2024, Changi Airport handled 17.8 million passengers, a 10.7% improvement over the matching quarter a year earlier and a full traffic recovery compared with the same months in 2019. Last December was the airport’s busiest month of the year and also was the first time its monthly traffic exceeded six million passengers. “We are optimistic of another year of growth in passenger traffic. Operating a major air hub in Asia-Pacific, Changi Airport Group will continue to invest in our airport’s infrastructure, systems and processes to augment our handling capacity to be well-placed to support rising demand for air travel in the coming years,” Changi Airport Group CEO, Yam Kum Weng, said.
