Vietjet to wet-lease two COMAC C909s

Vietnam’s deputy prime minister, Tran Hong Ha, said earlier this month he had instructed the transport ministry to review rules that prevent COMAC airplanes from operating in Vietnam after meeting with COMAC board director, Tan Wangeng, China’s aviation blogger group, FATIII Aviation, said. Images posted on Mainland social media platform Weibo show two aircraft, registrations B-652G and B-656E, with the Vietjet logo added to the Chengdu Airlines livery and a “75” logo referencing the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam.
