Air India has selected Airesources Incorporated as its passenger general sales agent in the Philippines.

Airbus has terminated its cargo transport service operated by five A300-600ST Beluga aircraft, a company statement said. The Airbus Beluga Transport operation received its air operator certificate from the France aviation regulator in January last year.

Cathay Pacific has selected SITA's Connect Go service to improve network connectivity at 51 airports in its international network.

GE Aerospace has reported a net profit of US$7.6 billion for calendar 2024, down 27% from US$10.4 billion in 2023. Revenue increased 9% to US$38.7 billion, the company said in a regulatory filing. Despite the decline in full-year net profit, GE Aerospace CEO, Lawrence Culp Jr, said the company posted a "strong finish" in 2024, with robust demand and orders up 46% for the three months.

Japan Airlines has announced it will be the first airline in the world to operate international routes with 787-9s featuring a riblet-shaped coating applied to the fuselage. Developed in partnership with Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and O-WELL CORPORATION, the coating reduces drag and improves fuel efficiency.
