ANA HOLDINGS INC.'s (ANA HD) corporate venture capital fund, ANA Future Frontier Fund, has invested in weather forecasting startup BlueWX CO. Ltd. "BlueWX, in partnership with Keio University and ANA HD, has developed a cutting-edge turbulence prediction model to enhance the future of air travel, ANA HD said. “By proactively predicting turbulence, BlueWX's technology empowers airlines to optimize flight routes, leading to increased operational safety, reduced fuel use, less CO2 emissions and cost savings,” a company statement said.

China Aircraft Leasing Group is purchasing two 737-800s from Cinda Leasing with the transaction to be finalised by August.

Lufthansa is partnering with Japanese artist, Sho Shibuya, in the design of its first class cabin sleep wear.

MMAG Holdings is to acquire a second 737-400SF freighter from JPA for 29.1 million ringgit (US$6.6 million). The aircraft is leased from JPA to MMAG Holdings and flown by its MJets Air freight business. "By acquiring the aircraft, the group gains greater control over its fleet, enhancing operational autonomy and flexibility," MMAG said.

Safran Aircraft Engines has completed the purchase of aircraft engine parts repair company, Component Repair Technologies.
