All Nippon Airways has selected Lufthansa Systems to conduct a proof of concept for online retailing of “non-flight related ancillary services” using the financial management platform SIRAX/ONE Order.
Cathay Cargo has adopted the International Air Transport Association’s ONE Record data protocol with three China freight forwarding companies and one from Hong Kong. Cathay Cargo exchanges electronic air waybill and shipment status information with the four freight forwarders via an application program interface.
HAECO Global Engine Support has commenced using Swiss Aviation Software’s AMOS products - AMOS MRO edition and AMOScloud - to manage its engine maintenance work across its facilities worldwide.
Honeywell intends to separate into Honeywell Automation, Honeywell Aerospace and Advanced Materials concluding the process in second half 2025. “The formation of three independent, industry-leading companies builds on the powerful foundation we have created, positioning each to pursue tailored growth strategies, and unlock significant value for shareholders and customers,” Honeywell chair and CEO, Vimal Kapur, said.
ST Engineering’s commercial aerospace unit won S$1.8 billion in new contracts in the final quarter of 2024 across its MRO, aero structures and systems businesses, reflecting a “strong market position and continued demand for aerospace solutions underpinned by strong aviation demand”, it said.
