China Southern withdraws plans to spin off logistics subsidiary

China Southern Airlines (CSA) has ended plans to progress a potential spinoff of its wholly-owned subsidiary, China Southern Air Logistics. Read More » The proposed divestment of China Southern Air Logistics, to be followed by listing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE), had been mooted for the past couple of years. “In view of the current change in market environment, with an aim to coordinate the capital operation planning, China Southern Air Logistics, after thorough communication and prudent evaluation, intended to withdraw the relevant application documents for listing on the SSE,” CSA said in a regulatory filing.
