Batik Air Malaysia and the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote Malaysia as a leading healthcare tourism destination.

BOC Aviation has purchased five 737 MAX 8s from Boeing to be delivered in 2026 and 2027. In a related transaction, the company said in a regulatory filing it has signed long-term leases for up to five of the aircraft with Dominican Republic-based Arajet.

Applications have opened for the International Air Transport Association’s diversity and inclusion awards, comprising three categories - the inspirational role model award, the high flyer award and the diversity and inclusion team award. Applications are due by April 6.

Malaysia Aviation Group, the parent company of Firefly and Malaysia Airlines, and the Singapore Tourism Board have renewed a partnership to promote Singapore as a tourist destination for Malaysians.
