Virgin Australia has launched Future Aviators with its first tour of the airline’s MRO and training centres and its Brisbane head office. Read More » The program, focused on students from south eastern Queensland, showcases the breadth of aviation careers available at the airline including lesser known technical roles critical to the operations of any airline, Virgin Australia said. Chief people officer, Lisa Burquest added: “We recognize the technical training required to become an engineer or pilot comes with years of study so we are opening the door to early high school students who may not yet know the career path they will pursue or the pathway to get there.”
