Japan Airlines reports 7.3% increase in domestic passengers, 19% growth in international traffic in latest update

Japan Airlines (JAL) carried 2.95 million domestic passengers last month, an increase from the 2.75 million passengers flown by the airline in the same month last year. Read More » The oneworld alliance member reduced domestic capacity by 3.6% in the 28 days and recorded an 8.5% increase in its domestic passenger load factor to 86.3%. JAL also booked strong international growth in February, with passenger numbers rising 19% year-on-year to 637,142. International available seat kilometers were 4.2% higher and passenger load factor climbed 11.4% to 87.6% compared with a year ago, the airline said.
