Lao Airlines is to start operating COMAC C909s. Read More » A photo shared online earlier this week showed several of the Laotian airline’s employees at COMAC’s Customer Training Centre in Shanghai. The carrier’s spokesperson confirmed the training with Reuters News and said the airline is expecting to accept its first C909 by March 31. A 2010 Memorandum of Understanding signed by China and Laos aviation regulators states Laos recognizes China’s aircraft design certifications. Lao Airlines operates Mainland manufactured Xian MA60 turboprop planes.
