Cathay Group to enhance connectivity to China in northern summer

Cathay Group carriers will operate close to 300 return flights a week to China in the 2025 northern hemisphere summer. Read More » Cathay Pacific will add multiple frequencies to China from Hong Kong and HK Express will broaden its leisure oriented network to the Mainland. Hong Kong-Beijing will be served seven times daily to Beijing Capital Airport and daily to Beijng Daxing by LCC, HK Express. Hong Kong-Shanghai Pudong will increase to eight flights a day and 11 times a week to Shanghai Hongqiao. Hong Kong to Zhengzhou, Ningbo, Haikou and Chongqing will switch from four flights weekly to daily and HK Express will fly seasonal daily from its home hub to Ningbo. Additionally, Hong Kong-Hangzhou will increase to four rotations a day and to Nanjing twice a day. Other Mainland cities to have more frequent Cathay Group services in coming months will be Hong Kong-Wenzhou at 10 a week, to Wuhan 12 weekly and to Urumqi from April 28. “We are delighted to be expanding our flight schedule in the Chinese Mainland this summer with services to 20 passenger destinations and increased frequencies on many of our popular routes.
