BOC Aviation orders 120 Airbus and Boeing aircraft

BOC Aviation will acquire 120 narrow-bodies from Airbus and Boeing in a mix of 70 A320neo family aircraft and 50 737 MAX 8s. Read More » Deliveries will be through to 2032 and 2031, respectively. The agreements include conversion rights to other variants of the A320neo and 737 MAX lineup. BOC Aviation CEO, Steven Townend, said the order with Boeing increased its commitments with the U.S. air framer to 140 737 MAX 8s and was the lessor’s “largest Boeing order book position” in its history. BOC Aviation said its Airbus investment has built out its orders with the OEM to more than 200 aircraft. “This order solidifies our position as one of the top five global aircraft operating lessors and provides us with a strong delivery pipeline into the next decade,” Townend said.
