Japan Airlines launches “carry direct” service

Japan Airlines (JAL) is offering passengers a new service in partnership with Air Trunk. Read More » It allows travel items to be stored remotely and delivered to the hotels of passengers travelling away from home. Carry direct users can store suitcases, clothing, shoes and amenities at a warehouse in their home cities. When preparing to travel, they order a suitcase be packed with essential items which is delivered to their out of town accommodation. At the end of the trip, the suitcase is returned to the warehouse where the items are unpacked, cleaned and stored for future trips.
