Panasonic Avionics Corporation has agreed with Air India to have its Astrova IFE solution and several digital services installed on 34 of the airline’s new wide-bodies. The flag carrier will equip six A350-1000s, 14 A350-900s and 14 787-9s with the system.

Thompson Aero Seating has struck a deal with Thai Airways International to supply business class seats for the carrier’s new A321neo. It also has announced the first customer for its VantageXL+ will be China Southern Airlines (CSA). The VantageXL+ is the latest iteration of the hugely popular VantageXL that is optimized to fit the precise dimensions of A350 and B787 fuselages. The new seats will be installed A350s CSA is looking to add to its fleet.

Panasonic Avionics Corporation is launching the world’s first Passpoint in-flight Wi-Fi roaming service with SK Telink and its roaming gateway of Mobile Network Operators. The service is planned to be rolled out aboard Korean Air 777-300ERs and A350-900s.

Herbert Smith Freehills is advising Mitsui & Co. Ltd on the low-carbon off-take arrangements for the conglomerate’s landmark Blue Point ammonia project.

Embraer has finalized an agreement with Intelsat to install a high-speed in-flight connectivity system on E-Jet E2s.

Airbus has selected VAS Aero Services to manage the teardown and redistribution of Used Serviceable Material from three A380s being retired from service: Lufthansa (2) and Malaysia Airlines (1).

Neo Space Group (NSG) has expanded its partnership with Thai Airways International (THAI) to include equipping 80 of THAI’s airliners with its In-Flight Connectivity solution.
