China Airlines posts decline in passengers, load factor and capacity

Taiwan-headquartered China Airlines (CAL) flew 964,614 passengers in March, 6.7% fewer than the 1 million passengers it transported in the same month in 2024. On a more positive note, operating revenue at the SkyTeam alliance member was 5% higher at T$14.9 billion (US$359 million), underpinned by a 27% improvement in cargo revenue. Passenger revenue fell 8% in the 31 days, the airline added.
