China Southern Airlines books small increase in passenger traffic

China Southern Airlines (CSA) flew 13.3 million passengers in March, up 1.9% from the13 million customers flown a year ago. Read More » All of the growth was generated from its international network where passengers increased 22.8% to 1.6 million. CSA’s domestic travellers carried were fewer by 0.4% at 11.5 million and regional flyers declined 6.9% to 139,580. Overall passenger load factor was 2.4 percentage points better at 84.7% and capacity increased 3.1% in the reported period.
