Virgin Australia bests Qantas and Jetstar for punctuality in latest month

Virgin Australia (VA) had 81.2% of its domestic flights arrive within 15 minutes of their schedules in March, delivering the best on-time performance for the month among the country’s major carriers. Read More » It bettered Qantas Airways (79.8%) and Jetstar at 80.9%, data from Australia’s Bureau of Infrastructure and Transport Research Economics records. The best on-time performance for the reported period was recorded by regional carrier, Skytrans, with an on-time arrival rate of 90.1%. Hinterland topped the table for punctual departures at 90.4%.
