Boeing reports narrowed first quarter losses

Cash burn was about $2.3 billion, also better by nearly $4 billion over first quarter 2024. The OEM said 737 production had gradually increased in the quarter and is expected to reach 38 a month this year. The 787 program output stabilized at five monthly for the quarter and is on track to be seven a month within the year. The 777X program is conducting FAA certification flight testing with first delivery of the 777-9 still set for 2026, Boeing said.
