Jetstar application to add flights to Philippines approved

Australia’s International Air Services Commission (IASC) will allow Qantas Group LCC, Jetstar Airways, to open two more routes to the Philippines from November 27. Read More » Qantas Group had sought approval for Jetstar to operate Brisbane-Cebu three times a week. Separately, the airline applied to fly three times weekly Perth-Manila. The IASC, which manages Australia’s traffic rights, published its approval of both applications late last week. Brisbane-Cebu is not serviced at present, but Philippine Airlines operates Perth-Manila three times a week. Both new routes will be flown by A320neo.
