On the sidelines of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), 81st Annual General Meeting (AGM) in New Delhi earlier this week, Uzbekistan Airways and Air India concluded an interline agreement. Read More » Uzbekistan Airways passengers can now book through-tickets via Indira Gandhi International Airport in India for onward connections with Air India to over 30 domestic destinations. “This agreement is not just about expanding our route network—it is a strategic step toward building a more integrated, accessible, and convenient air travel system between Central and South Asia,” Alisher Sattarov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways, stated. “Our partnerships with Uzbekistan Airways bring more travel options and smoother journeys for our growing base of customers worldwide as well as reinforce India’s rising status as a key global aviation hub,” Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer, Air India, said. Currently, Uzbekistan Airways operates regular flights from Tashkent to Delhi and Mumbai, and seasonal flights to Goa.
