Airbus has signed up to Lufthansa Group’s “sustainable corporate value fare” for employee air travel within Germany to offset some CO₂ emissions from the flights “through the subsequent use of sustainable aviation fuel in future flight operations”.
Korean Air (KAL) has introduced new amenities for young travellers, including practical items relevant to their destinations. Pre-school and school-age children amenities include beach towels, neck pillows, slippers, socks, airplane key rings and headphones to keep after their flights. “Our goal was to create moments of joy and comfort, whether it is a child being creative at 30,000 feet or resting with a new pillow,” KAL head of in-flight service, Dong Wook Lee, said. “It is our way of welcoming our youngest guests on board and helping the whole family create wonderful memories together.”
Philippine Airlines is now offering its products and services via global distribution system, Amadeus, in its key markets of Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates and United States.
Malaysia Airports has confirmed the aerotrain inter-terminal transfer service at Kuala Lumpur International Airport will resume on July 1 following a major upgrade.

Thai AirAsia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Thailand’s Department of Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce to purchase 1,000 tonnes of fresh fruit such as longan, mangosteen and pineapple, from local farmers. The fruit will be used in the production of food and beverage items the LCC and sister carrier, Thai AirAsia X, sell on their flights.
