Air Hong Kong withdraws last A300F from service

Read More » The withdrawal of the A300-600F from the cargo airline’s schedule was preceded by the arrival of a new A330F freighter from Airbus and marked the completion of its seven-year fleet renewal. Air Hong Kong operates four A330-200Fs and 10 A330-300P2Fs (passenger to freighter) on behalf of DHL Express. “The A300-600F has been a stalwart of Air Hong Kong’s fleet and an important part of our story for more than two decades,” Air Hong Kong chief operating officer, Clarence Tai, said. “The new generation A330F has considerable benefits that will enable us to enhance our operations and services for customers and play an important role in the growth of Hong Kong’s air cargo sector.” Flight tracking websites showed the final A300-600F, registration B-LDB, departed Hong Kong for Budapest, via Dubai and Leipzig, at the close of last week.
