SpiceJet increases capacity after 737-8 and two engines returned to service

SpiceJet has added a 737-800 to its flight schedule thanks to the arrival of two engines at the LCC after required MRO. Read More » The engines are a CFM LEAP-1B that powers its 737s and a Q400 engine, SpiceJet said. The engines are the first to return from MRO conducted by StandardAero. SpiceJet has sent 17 engines for MRO. The engine checks are being conducted by Carlyle Aviation and StandardAero as part of SpiceJet’s fleet reactivation plan.
