Vietjet reports sharp uplift in interim net profit

Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company has recorded a net profit of 1.3 trillion dong (US$49 million) for the six months to June 30, up 55.6% from 830.8 billion dong in net profits in interim 2024. "Backed by a solid financial foundation, modern fleet investment and critical infrastructure projects, Vietjet is well positioned for momentum in second-half 2025," the company said. "The airline aims for sustainable growth and global expansion, enhancing Vietnam’s position as a rising aviation hub and its appeal to international partners and investors."
