Singapore Airlines (SIA) has unveiled an in-flight safety video produced in collaboration with Singapore Tourism Board (STB). The five minute 40 second video contains essential safety features and also takes the airline’s passengers on a journey around Singapore’s landmarks, neighborhoods and communities.
Australia’s National Jet Express (NJE) has signed a Letter of Intent for another two De Havilland Dash 8 Q400 turboprops, with deliveries by year-end. The aircraft will increase NJE’s Q400 fleet to 13 operating from bases in Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane.
WestJet has agreed with Boeing to purchase 60 737-10 MAXs with options for another 25 of the type. The airline also has ordered seven 787-9s with options for four more.
Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore has rolled out Singapore’s National Aviation Safety Plan 2025-2027, the strategy intended to strengthen aviation safety as Singapore’s air passenger volume hits record levels and is forecast to continue its record expansion.
Qantas Airways has selected Rebecca Vallance to create its new uniform with its launch planned for 2027. The carrier’s last uniform renewal was in 2014. Designers of the crew and ground staff wardrobe include Martin Grant, Peter Morrissey, Yves Saint Laurent, George Gross and Harry Who and Emilio Pucci.
