Hong Kong Airlines touches down in Lijiang

Earlier this week, Hong Kong Airlines commenced flying three times a week Hong Kong-Lijiang. Read More » Inaugural HX412, operated by A320 registration B-LPP, took off from Hong Kong a little after 1930 Hong Kong local time and touched down in Lijiang two and a half hours later. The aircraft stayed in Lijiang overnight before returning to Hong Kong as HX413 the next day. Hong Kong Airlines is the only airline operating the route. "This direct route significantly reduces travel time and seamlessly integrates with our extensive international network," Hong Kong Airlines president, Jeff Sun, said. "Passengers from our destinations in Australia and North America, including Sydney, Melbourne and Vancouver, as well as those on our exclusive Saipan service, can easily connect via Hong Kong to Lijiang." Hong Kong Airlines operates 14 Hong Kong-China routes.
