Malaysia Airlines and Qantas Airways seal code-share partnership

Malaysia Airlines (MAS) and Qantas Airways have unveiled details of their new code-share covering flights between Australia and Malaysia, Malaysia and Singapore and also domestic schedules. Read More » MAS will place its MH code on 18 Qantas domestic routes, including Canberra, Darwin, Hobart and Launceston. At the same time, Qantas will display its QF code on MAS rotations from Kuala Lumpur to Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney as well as to Singapore, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Langkawi and Penang. MAS said the partnership is starting as the airline is resuming Kuala Lumpur to Brisbane at five times a week (November 29) and increasing Melbourne and Sydney to triple daily from its Malaysia hub starting in late October. Additionally, Kuala Lumpur to Perth will be double daily from December 1 and Adelaide will operate daily between the two cities from next February.
