Vietnam Airlines focused on Mainland growth

Hanoi-based Vietnam Airlines (VNA) this week opened reservations for nine Mainland-Vietnam air links, a strong vote of confidence in the growing economic and tourism ties of the two nations. Read More »

The Vietnamese flag carrier will add a weekly Da Nang-Shijiazhuang rotation from October 26, followed three days later by a weekly Nha Trang-Chongqing service that will be up-gauged to four-weekly from January 14. From January 1, VNA will launch thrice-weekly Da Nang-Lanzhou, as well as thrice-weekly Ho Chi Minh-Hangzhou, operations. The following day, the Skyteam carrier will add twice a week Da Nang-Jinan flights, and from January 10, it will start twice-weekly Da Nang-Nanchang rotations. On January 15, VNA is expected to commence three times a week Nha Trang-Beijing service, followed by Nha Trang-Hangzhou (twice-weekly) and Nha Trang-Nanning (thrice-weekly) from January 17 and 18, respectively.

All services will be operated by the carrier’s signature A321, of which it operates 50, configured with 16 business class recliners and 168 standard economy seats.
