Cargo operators, Teleport and China Central Longhao Airlines, are interlining to expand their cargo networks and support growing cross-border trade.

Air New Zealand (Air NZ) has opened an aircraft maintenance facility, Hangar 4, at its home hub. The 10,000 square metre shop can service a 787-9 and two A320 family aircraft at same time. "This investment ensures we have fit for purpose, modern infrastructure for our engineers to service our fleet," Air NZ CEO, Greg Foran, said.

Embraer has announced an order for 24 E195-E2s and purchase options for 50 more of the type from South America’s LATAM Group. Deliveries will begin in the second half of next year.

Malaysia Airlines and Corporate Information Travel have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to launch Mhsports. The MoU will focus on attracting ASEAN sports travellers - from professional athletes and those who play sport for fun to supporters of sporting teams.
