Singapore Airlines and Vietnam Airlines to code-share on Vietnam-Singapore routes

From October 26, Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Vietnam Airlines will code-share on three Singapore-Vietnam routes. Read More » SIA will add its SQ airline code on Vietnam Airlines flights from Singapore to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Similarly, Vietnam Airlines will place its VN airline code on SIA rotations from Singapore to Da Nang, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. "Our code-share partnership with Vietnam Airlines is an important step in strengthening connectivity between Singapore and Vietnam," SIA senior vice president of marketing planning, Dai Haoyu, said. "By leveraging our respective networks, we can offer customers more choice, greater flexibility and seamless transfers across our services between the two countries." The two carriers are exploring other routes to be included in the agreement as well as deepening commercial cooperation to offer customers more options, enhanced connectivity and greater value. "For Vietnam Airlines, this partnership not only strengthens our international presence but supports our commitment to aligning with world-class service standards," Vietnam Airlines director of corporate planning and development, Nguyen Quang Trung, said. "We look forward to deepening our cooperation with Singapore Airlines and jointly contributing to the long-term, sustainable development of the regional aviation industry."
