Air India Express commits to new Navi Mumbai Airport

Air India Express will operate 20 daily departures connecting to 15 cities when the new Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) opens later this year. Read More » The Air India Group LCC’s presence at the Adani Airport Holdings-operated airport is expected to increase to 55 daily departures, including five daily international flights, by mid-2026 and to 60 daily departures by next year-end. "We look forward to commencing operations at Navi Mumbai International Airport as it joins the league of world cities with more than one airport," Air India CEO, Campbell Wilson, said. "We are happy to work with Adani Airports to build NMIA as a point that connects to the rest of India for passengers and cargo given its strategic geographical location."
