AirAsia building Cebu network with three domestic and two international routes

In November AirAsia will re-establish Cebu as a major Philippines hub with 50 flights a week from the city. Read More » The LCC will operate Cebu-Davao 18 times a week, Cebu-Caticlan 11 times week and four times a week between Cebu and Iloilo. The schedules will be "vital feeder routes" for the airline’s 14 flights a week from Cebu to Kuala Lumpur and three flights a week to Macao. The schedules will begin flying on November 15. "Cebu is a cornerstone in our next phase of growth in the Philippines," AirAsia Aviation Group chief commercial officer, Amanda Woo, said. "By linking domestic feeders from across the Visayas and Mindanao into international gateways like Macao and Kuala Lumpur, we are creating a stronger bridge between local communities and the wider region. Beyond Kuala Lumpur and Macao, we are planning additional international routes out of Cebu to strengthen its role as another global gateway for the Philippines."
